The Fresh Exporters Association of India (FREXA) welcomes individuals and entities engaged in India’s fresh produce export ecosystem. Membership is designed to create a strong, representative platform covering exporters, producers, and allied stakeholders.

Membership Structure
FREXA offers the following three classes of membership designed to engage all stakeholders in India’s fresh produce export ecosystem.
Patron Members
Senior industry participants and stakeholders who wish to support and guide the Association at a strategic level.
Life Members
Members admitted for long-term association with FREXA, as may be decided by the General Body from time to time.
Regular Members
Active members engaged in export-related activities who participate in the regular functioning, elections, and governance of the Association.
Who Can Become a Member
A person or entity shall be admitted as a Member of the Association (irrespective of the class of membership) only if all of the following conditions are satisfied:
A. Age Requirement
Individual applicants must be 18 years of age or above.
Business applicants must have a minimum of 1 year of operational experience in the fresh produce sector.
B. Nature of Business / Association
The applicant must be engaged in one or more of the following activities:
1. Exporters
Individuals, partnership firms, LLPs, private limited companies, public limited companies, or cooperative societies engaged in the export of fresh fruits, vegetables, and other fresh produce from India.
2. Producers & Growers
Farmers, producer groups, Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), and cooperatives engaged in cultivation and supply of fresh produce for export markets.
3. Allied Service Providers
Entities involved in logistics, cold chain, packaging materials, irradiation, packhouses, warehousing, shipping, and other ancillary services supporting fresh produce exports.
4. Processors & Packers
Units engaged in grading, sorting, packing, processing, and quality certification of fresh produce intended for export.
5. Testing & Certification Bodies
Accredited laboratories, certification agencies, and institutions providing quality assurance, testing, and compliance support to exporters.
6. Traders & Commission Agents
Registered traders and commission agents engaged in trading and facilitating the export of fresh produce.
7. Honorary Members (Non-Voting)
Experts, academicians, and government officials who have made significant contributions to the promotion and development of agricultural and fresh produce exports.
8. Associate Members
Institutions, chambers of commerce, financial institutions, and foreign buyers or importers associated with Indian fresh produce exports.
C. Declaration & Compliance
The applicant must submit a written declaration agreeing to abide by the Rules, Regulations, and decisions of the Association.
The declaration must be submitted along with the Membership Application.
D. Payment of Membership Fee
The applicable membership fee must be paid at the time of submission of the membership application.
